Said was calling on behalf of HMRC and wanted to speak to someone higher up - when asked what it was regarding they wouldn't really say - I said to send an email through to our generic email - they said no and that they would just call back later

I had a call from this number at 6pm.
Lady said she was calling on behalf of L&Q Housing concerning a repair. Was really noisy in the back ground, sounded like she was having a party lol, Plus I kept hearing myself so I assume she had me on loud speaker.. Told her the connection is really bad so she said she will call back.. -

Missed the call so checked Tellows. They are a "Social and Business survey company". At lease their caller ID comes through and isn't spoofed. We always respond that we don't take part in surveys AND we NEVER give out a name - that would be a fatal error.

Caller claimed to be wanting to complete a survey on behalf of Devon and Cornwall fire and rescue in relation to pole tax expenditure. Could not give me details of how he got my mobile number that the council do not have! Therefore this appears to be a scam!
