ust received a call from an unknown number spoke to someone called Liam from fresh contacts, he said he was calling about an accident I had within the last 3 years, apparently a car had run into the back of me but I hadn't claimed any compensation for injuries to myself. I did have an accident where someone ran into the the back of my car on a roundabout but this was about 6/7 years ago and it was all sorted when it happened. I didn't claim compensation for any injuries as I never got hurt. Liam gave me a number for the National Data Base 01582 761225 to get my details removed off the national list to stop any more calls. I called this number but noone there to speak to and was unable to leave a message.

Despite being told that I am reporting this company for harassment and for trying to defraud people by telling them they have been in an accident, they continue to call. Why isn't something being done to these type of companies? They are unscrupulous.

Calls from this number (and from any number asking you to call 0151 329 0341 to remove your data) are from Fresh Contacts, a "legal marketing" company that is fishing for accident data so they can offer you "compensation claims" at a whopping 25% charge.

It's a typical 'you've been in an accident' call but when I asked how they knew (I don't even drive) I was told that my insurance company told a conmpany called Verd Media, who collect Data and they got it from them - clearly a lie.

Had numerous calls of this number informing me I'd been in an accident (I haven't), finally lost my patience with them and told him to f**k off and get a proper job, maybe flipping burgers at McDonald's or something to which he seemed to get quite upset!!! Lol ah well!!!
