this number called me and knew my name, address, even my girlfriends name, he said he was doing a survey I said ' no thanks# and put the phone down, but the cheeky sod rang back, I kept asking 'who are you' and all he kept saying was, uk research' he became very aggressive, when I wouldn't answer his questions, I sais, send me a letter, it is obviously a scam, so don't be fooled.

typical example of the blight of the UK - foreign sounding caller determined to force you to answer questions who then becomes very aggressive when you explain you're on TPS and they are breaking the code by calling - 1st politician who truly rids us of these nasty companies will get my vote for evermore

Like you I was forced to buy BT Call Guardian. Resented the cost 'cos my phone was ok but, so far I have Blocked 36 of these callers. I named them PEST A -Z, now I'm going through again adding a number, PEST A1 etc. I wanted to see how many times they would keep calling. To my amazement those I blocked in June are appearing on the call list again. None of them give up, does anyone know how they get our numbers? I am with TPS and have reported calls to ICO but it does no good, I don't think our government is bothered that people are bombarded with these PESTS. It must be terrible for really old or ill people, I think the telephone lines should be cut off, but who is responsible?

repeated calls from all numbers associated with the 'uk society'. we will not answer the phone and screen our calls. surely laws need to introduce to stop this harassment in your own home

I got this call this morning with an Indian male asking to speak to me and I replied no to all questions and put the phone down on him. I hope they don't ring again!

This company never fails to ring every day with an Indian male called either Peter or John!(useful aliases) they need my help in completing a survey!!! when I decline to "help" the become quite irritable and stroppy. I have let them know my number has been barred from this type of call but the line just goes dead, but tomorrow it will be the same thing. This morning I stopped him and said I was taking notes, he disappeared. Surely something can be done to locate this call centre and terminate its ability to harass people to this extent.

These obnoxious people have been disturbing my elderly parents several times a day for weeks now. Today, when I answered, a girl with a Chinese accent asked if I was my father. When I said no, the line went dead.
