   just had a call from this number- 12.54 pm - usual call centre noise in background, and Indian man asking for Mrs **** *****. I just said WHO??? so he asked again. I Said 'No thankyou, goodbye' & put phone down on him. When I tried to add this number to my BT Call Protect Blacklist, it said the number was 'not recognised' so couldn't be added to blacklist, but I could change my settings to send it to my junkmail, which I have done.

    They called me but I didn't answer. I then checked the number on here... From what I've read, THIS SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM I HEARD OF THE OTHER DAY. They call you and ask random questions trying to get you to say 'YES' so they can record and use your voice to confirm their FRAUD activity... Please don't answer yes, say mmmmm, should be, think so, ah hah or something else... These criminals are persistent!!!...
    
    In fact just leave your answering machine on or get caller ID, don't answer then check and block!!!

    Foreign guy phoned three times. He asked me about my washing machine and the make of it. I told him I don't know. He asked me if I am married. I said yes and he said he doesn't believe me because I only sound 22. He said he is in love with my voice. He asked for my name so he can add me on facebook. I questioned this and said 'about my washing machine?' and he said 'no I want to talk to you. I want to add you on facebook so we can talk properly'
    
    Little does he realise that I work for the ministry of justice and specialise in grooming and CSE. So I am equipped to deal with people like this but easily manipulated vulnerable people will be easily drawn in.

    Asian sounding lady. asked for me I asked who was calling (without confirming it was me). she proceeded to tell me my postcode & hung up when I said it was wrong. has been phoning every day. Hope no more calls now I've answered

    Call from lady with broken English asking for me by name and said your post code is xxxx - It was an old one of mine so asked why she wanted information and said she was calling from a company doing a survey, wanted to know what phone handset I - have I got a samsung or i phone, when i said she didn't need that information she said they are trying to find out the most popular handset, I asked her to delete any information she held about me as I did not consent to them holding information and she said she wouldn't and would call me back later - Number is now blocked.

    Asian sounding saying he was from Nationwide bank saying I'm happy with my credit cards, quoted my postcode and kept insisting he wasn't selling anything when I asked him to remove my number. Definitely something dodgy about this call. I've blocked the number.

    keep getting calls from this number, then fails to leave message. often asian sounding males/femalss claiming to be from virgin media or one of the banks. Often just cutting off when asked any probing question.

    They have rang me today asked same questions, I phoned 101 after spoke to the police they adviced me to speak to the action fraud line who said that it definitely was a attempt of fraud!I have spoke to my bank and asked them to keep an eye on my account for any unusual activities

    Frequently have these calls from Asian sounding men and women who become quite aggressive when I ask why they are ringing, told them we have registered with the TPS and to take our number off their list but to no avail. This time I told them know one of that name at this address and they just asked if I was sure. Will be interesting to see if we get any more! Why hasn't someone tracked this number down and charged them with harassment calls?

    Called today @ 10:46 by an indian woman advising she was calling from nationwide bank. She asked me to confirm my postcode. When i asked what the call was regarding she repeated where she was calling from & asked about my postcode. I asked again what it was regarding as i dont have an account with nationwide then the line went dead. I tried to call it back to see if genuine but came up as invalid number.

    Asian-sounding man asked to speak to my son. I asked who he was and he said it is not a sales call. I asked again who he was and he started to get aggressive, asking again for my son. I said if you can't tell me who you are I can't put you through. He shouted "Piss off!" and that was the end of the conversation.

    Called and asked for me by name, sounded like an Asian man, asked where he was calling from and he said Nationwide, I've never had an account with Nationwide. I asked what the reason for the call was and he hung up. Block this number sounds like a scam.
