Thieves, don't even bother giving them your case. They claim they're a marketing company but all they do is Personal Injury. They take 25% of YOUR money. They are plenty of solicitors who will give you 100% even a 101% compensation. Just google it and there are lots of companies that do so. If you have signed then call back and cancel if it has not been 14 days yet.

The last comment is absolutely correct. They were owned by Quindell but have now been bought by Slater & Gordon's. I've just finished working for these (yes I was one of the brats doing your heads in, SORRY).
The way it works is they buy data from various suppliers. Most of the data are just numbers without names so it's definitely cold calling. They have no details of any accidents what so ever, they are just fishing. They have a strict script they have to follow which you can probably tell. It's the same thing over and over if you were unlucky to receive numerous calls. Agents are under strict orders to pester clients and push them. Best thing to do is say remove me from your database and hang up. Don't give them a chance to "Objection Handle".
If you really want to teach them a lesson then pester the people most High up in the company.

I have done a little research and found this lot out.
Consumer exchange is a fake company name for Quindell that is now owned by Slater and Gordon.
Now I cannot understand how such a huge and successful company is allowing “consumer Exchange” to cold call and annoy people is beyond me. I think that this need to be know by everyone so this can be stopped. I think if we all stick together and get this out there (papers – Ann Robinson Watch Dog)
WE CAN achieve this sooner rather than later and stop all cold calls -

They have now changed their number for a second time to 01612229744.
I am getting calls on my direct dial works phone. They must be putting in random numbers because this is a new number I havent gave to anyone and that is witheld when I make calls. -

Try to tell you that you are entitled to compensation for injury, mis-sold PPI, etc, etc but then start fishing for information as they don't actually know the first thing about you apart from your number and a few other details.

been ringing me constantly for last two weeks and hangups - caught them today and asked about my accident. This is an accident my husband had and he died (not related to the accident) later that year - very upset and have reported them to OFCOM and the Motor Insurance Ombudsman

4 missed calls in 2 days - finally caught them on 5th call. They introduced themselves as Consumer Exchange and asked if they were speaking to ___my name___ I said - no sorry you must have the wrong number as I had already googled to see if number was cold caller etc. He apologised, said goodbye and hung up.

They rang my phone asking for my ex wife
Asked them why that had my number and was told they couldn't discuss it with me even though they had rang MY number
Spoke to a very arrogant and patronizing manager who I asked how they got my details and from whom did they purchase my data.
He told me to write in to find where
Having then told him about the breach of the data protection act by him acting as an agent on behalf of his company he began to get rude and very stroppy (I know the dpa inside out)
Cold calling call centre who will try to say you had an accident and they can help
I wonder if the vermin meant when I fell over and cut my leg when I was 4 years old
Scum telemarketing company that should be fined for harassment (criminal offence)
1. Never answer a call from a number you dont recognise. Its your phone, you are not obliged to answer.
2. Answer and then ask them to hold for a minute. Leave them hanging on. If they do, then simply keep telling them to hold.
