keep calling my mobile, when I answered today after a very long dead line (obviously dialled by computer) a guy asked for someone called Daniel . I told the caller that nobody of that name has ever used this phone and more over if they continue to call my phone twice a day I will be reporting the number to Ofcom watch this space

ALL OF A SUDDEN A VOICE SAID IS THAT MS... ? - I SAID WHO'S THIS, IT WAS ABOUT SMART METERS, PAYING SOME OTHER WAY THAN WITH CASH - YOU CAN TOP UP THE KEY AND CARD WITHOUT GOING TO THE SHOP! SHE WAS VERY PUSHY, I SAID NO AND HOW I LIVE CLOSE TO THE SHOPS - AND I DON'T MIND PAYING WITH CASH AND PUTTING KEY IN.. AND PUT PHONE DOWN. Yesterday these morons phoned 26 times sometimes 5 times in the same minute.So far today they have only phoned 10 times but it's only 11.30. Thank goodness Samsung built in a reject list!

Claim to be from UTILITA

IF you ring the number back 01246 733 160 an automated message states they are UTILITA.
After 21 cold calls a DAY from this number & repeated requests not to ring again it got me no-where. I rang UTILITA direct on 03303 337 440 to make a formal complaint. The UTILITA number 03452072000 only gets you through to Uitlita services for current customers. I was told by UTILITA that the number 01246 733 160 is NOT UTILITA and that UTILITA do not make cold calls or use external telemarketing agency to make cold calls on there behalf.
I strongly suggest you phone UTILITA yourself to report the nuance calls your receiving from people claiming to be UTILITA and supply them with the number the calls are coming from, I was also advised by Trading Standards to let them investigate and to contact Ofcom.

This is not a Chesterfield number even though the 01246 prefix is for Chesterfield. I never answer my landline and do not answer my mobile unlrss I recognise the number

i got a call yesterday asking if i had a prepaid electric meter when i said i did they were persistant in offering me a daily reader in what electric i was using and when i refused they said they would ring back in 24 hours time to speak to my wife, against my wishes they called me again 20 mins ago askin for my wife, wen i asked them how they knew my wifes name they instantly put the phone down, dont trust these people they are crooks.
