Received a text from the same number saying 'there was an authorise activity' on my account with their fake paypal link. I smell it straightaway that it's a scam. They got my contact from gumtree as well.

Received same text as everybody else from +44 1252 560473. PayPal scam. Got my number from Gumtree advert. Just delete. As if you'd get security messages by text & from PayPal.net.

Total scam. Log on to the website they tell you to and then most likely problems will occur. Such scammers are detectable and i know investigators do bring them to justice.

I had a message from this number +44 1252 560473, I've googled it and it brought me to this website, I've also sent it to the real paypal support team, the message I have is. "
Dear ......, we've detected unauthorized access to your PayPal account. Please log in at https://supportpaypal.net/ to unlock your account."

I know full well my account is in fully working order, just wanted to share this with everyone
