They have obviously not heard of the Telephone Preference Service, with which I am registered. I have a BT Call Guardian phone (BT8500), so I don't have to waste my time with these people. BTW you don't have to be a BT customer for this service and it works very well.

I have just taken a call from this number 01253766663 the lady asked for my husband by name when i asked her who was calling she told me she was calling from a children's play centre she named the place which is close to where i live in the West Midlands the telephone number above didnt add up so i put my phone down and checked the number only to find she was calling from BLACKPOOL 200 MILES AWAY be carefull folks its another SCAM.

Told her clearly that I wasn't interested, but she keeps calling back (5x in one week) even though we're on TPS. Guess they got my number from the back of yellow pages, or from Yell. (Problem is, you can't get the free advertising in Yell unless you give a landline number.) They wanted to charge £9 a week for advertising my business in a local children's play centre.

they claimed to be doing local authority survey on local businesses
hung up on them as it was not local number apperingon my phonedaleslass replied 2/17/15, 10:36 PMI'm afraid that your comment is completely wrong, as I know for a fact that this company does not do ANY work regarding local authority surveys. I have advertised with them, and worked with them closely, and know that they only work with play centers. Whoever you are referring to, is not this particular company so I suggest you get your facts right before insulting one vision.
