This number called me this morning, and when I answered, I was instructed to call it back immediately. Feeling suspicious, I chose not to and blocked the number instead. I just hope that simply answering the call didn’t put me at risk of a scam.

This number has called me weekly for the past month and strangely, I've missed each one. Probably a scam or they would have written to me. Have looked them up via this website and put them on my contact list under Tax Scammer, so that I don't pick up. My reason for not blocking is because they always have another number, and you block that and they have another number - and it's endless. If I don't block, they don't really know if the phone has a human at the end of it and it will eventually stop. Past experience.
