Scam/Fraud
Caller stated was BT who had detected faults on my router and would help me repair the problems..... etc. As though BT were ever proactive enough to even bother looking without a very, very hard shove from the customer! Anyway, wouldn't give them my bank details to provide ID background and he rang off. He gave an English christian name but didn't have an English accent; very polite and patient - again, most unlike BT!
Background sounded like a callcentre but with the volume turned down - probably a recording to add authenticity
