Told me they were the Bank Of Scotland and started asking if we take credit card payments. I told him we have a broker who deals with all our ammenities then hung up. Very strange having read the comments on here though as they are evidently not from the Bank Of Scotland. Definitely a SCAM!! Do not give any details to these people!!

Never ever give your bank details over the phone. Also if they ask you to put the phone down and call your bank don't do it as they may hold on the line and it will be the scammers you are talking to. Don't enter your PIN number in to the handset they can decipher it and then have your full security details. If you do speak to someone just tell them that you will be reporting it to the police.

I have been getting calls from this number for a number of weeks including a message left on my mobile.All I can hear are strange noises,hissing and a lot of swearing inbetween.Most upsetting however is that inbetween is my name in the mix.I just installed a call recorder as one of my neighbours has been harassing me for years unfortunately they have my number :(

It rang ...I answered..it was put down on the other end. I tried ringing back and got " number incorrect" . For all this who receive automated messages here is a trick.... Go to keypad and press 9 . This removes you from automated dialling from that number in future.

Called a new mobile I just bought. I didn't answer - they can get STUFFED and I recommend you adopt the same approach. They are just after your details and your money - NEVER give them. Just add them to your black list and if they do ever speak, tell them THEIR details are being passed onto the police...see how quickly their real side comes out. Thanks to people here, more and more are getting wise to these antics.

Received three calls from this number(with a message in one of them in the voice mail regarding' refund money'!) one of the calls were at 7 am!!
I also received a unknown phone call from another number right after this annoying calls, the other number is 01342821002 . -

Had several calls fromthis number on my mobile. Tried to return call and got message that I was dialling an incorrect number - despite the fact that it had just called me! Dont know what its about as it has always disconnected when I answer. Will ignore it now!

They rang me but obviously being called through an auto dialler as it took ages to connect me to a caller.
Line kept dropping out, couldn't really understand what the woman wanted, all I heard was it was a 2 min opinion poll and started off asking me my marital status.

Answered a call from this number, the woman knew my name and said my details had been passed to her by my insurance company in relation to the RTA I was involved with. She said that the third party insurer had money set aside to cover any future injuries or discomfort (stressed that it wasn't a compensation claim) and that I just needed to give details of the accident and my car registration to activate the payment. When I said that I wasn't willing to give her those details based on the phone call and that she would have to send a letter she told me that it wasn't possible as they don't have my address due to data protection. When I said not to bother she said it was 'madness' not to and that by refusing to comply they would have to close the case and I would miss out on the payment.

Got a call off this number whilst i was in work and didn't answer, looks like from the above it was a good idea that i didn't answer! Saved it as harrasment number so they can have fun repeatedly listening to my answering machine when i repeatedly put the phone down on them!

A significant number of my customers are based overseas and therefore use Skype to reduce their calling costs to the UK.
Only found out it was Skype because I recognised the area code and answered the phone expecting a Scottish chap called Hamish but was actually speaking to French girl called Sadit!
Asked her where she was calling from, she said France, I said why have you got a Welsh phone number and she said she was calling from Skype.
