We are with TPS, and are ex directory. We have tried phoning back several times, but phone always engaged. When I went to block the number, it showed up as 02105479193, so it must be the same number as 01269849892. We have received a lot of calls over the past few weeks, and no messages have been left.

Called claiming to be from BT and that he was sorting out a problem with my broadband and wanted to take some details from me. When I tested him by asking what company I had my broadband with, he said Talk Talk. I told him that wasn't the case and he hung up. Not annoying but probably would have tried to get personal and financial details from me if given half a chance.

I'm with Virgin, they claimed to be BT Openreach - problem with my router, at rev 568 needs to be 768 - engineer can fix it. Kept em tied up for about 20 minutes so that they couldn't scam other people - tried usual trying to get me to install remote control software so they can drop malware on me

SCAM: Call received on my landline 20 June 2016 at 10.40am. Male with heavy foreign accent (Asian?), claiming to be from NORTON SECURITY, knew my name and email address and asked me to confirm them. When I queried who he was and said I didn't believe he was a genuine caller, he hung up!

I had this number ring yet again tonight, Asian man said he was calling from .....solutions, I threw phone down and left it connected for 20 mins... last week same number rand and man said he was phoning from bt to say my internet was abt to be cut off....I said funny im not wth bt and said it was a scam and hung up

Had this number - 01269849892 - ring today 7/10/15, this Asian sounding guy wanted to speak to my wife, I told him no, what did he want ? and that she wasn't available, I then told him that my number was ex-directory, he insisted he wanted to talk to her, so I told him you're not listening do NOT ring this number again.... I picked up on this call about 10 minutes ago, not a wise choice being that ive had so many nuisance calls of late, anyway on picking up there was no sound, after about 5 seconds this indian sounding chap said hello, i then hung up on him.
how do i go about making a complaint about this, it needs to be stopped once and for all. -

Have been getting calls from this number frequently in the last 3 weeks. Never used to answer them. Until I answered it today at 12.40 pm there was a silence for about 5 seconds then a hello Aron it was a friend of mine from Australia! What's the deal with this number and should I be concerned?

This phone number started to appear when I get a call from people that I know, or instead of showing their phone number it says no caller ID even if they don't have this option selected on their phone... Don't know what this is but it's very annoying... And I am getting worried now.
This all thing started on 30th of March around noon. -

caller identified herself as 'Jennifer' (Asian sounding voice) & said she was calling from BT & there was a problem with my computer & my service was about to be cut off. I was slightly concerned since I have a BT broadband account & was using my laptop at the time, but the tone of the call felt bogus so I hung up & checked number via Google.
