scam buster reported Washing machine scam with the number 01273091000 as Aggressive advertising
Washing machine warranty scam call. I played with them for a while, and asked for the £700 lifetime cover. When they put me through to an next guy I asked if anyone had ever fallen for this 'sales' tactic and he said he assumed I wouldn’t be wanting the cover, and wouldn’t waste my time anymore. I said he wasn’t wasting my time as I found it all quite entertaining. I told him to get a real job, and asked him how he could sleep with what he is doing - especially to elderly people. His name was Tom. Sounds like a Indian person makes the call.
