Indian-sounding voice (female and obviously not very experienced) announced a problem with my BT broadband. I played along until she asked if I was in front of my PC. When I told her loudly I knew it was a scam, she told me to shut up several times. Ten mins later a male rang with the same story, got short shrift from me. Today it was this Brighton number, previously a Portsmouth one. I get these calls a lot!

Indian gent says he is from BT and is cutting my line off after checking my IP number and finding lots of corrupt files on it.HAHA..Said he would reconnect me after verifying certain details , I said I wont I said YOU TELL ME MY IP number... He couldn't..

Asian sounding woman, very inexperienced I’d say, said I had a problem with my internet and she could fix it. Told her that would be very clever of her as I don’t have the internet. Immediately rang off. Has rung twice since - the number is now blocked.
