   Indian "woman" called saying my SIM card would expire in a week because Virgin Media, EE and O2 had amalgamated so they had to change an interface. Therefore, my SIM would no longer not work apparently. I asked her to explain what she meant as I didn't understand so she explained again. She was getting a little testy after me asking 4 times to explain. Then I asked her what amalgamated was, then interface, then what's a SIM card. After keeping her on the phone for about 10mins, she was getting quite annoyed by the tone of her voice. That's when I explained to her that the mobile number she was calling on was being monitored by the UK Serious Fraud Office and thanked her for her cooperation. She asked "What?" quite nervously. I replied "evidence and location" and she hung up.
   Do not confirm or offer up ANY info to these people.

   Saying they are from sky mobile and all sky customers need a new sim card as they are changing the interface. Asking if I was accountvholder for sky sim card number ending. Informed them I wasn't (as I am not the account holder). Then asked me for the account holder details. Too which I responded if you are from sky you would have all of that information and not need anything from me. To which she responded well when you cant use your sim that's your fault.
   I also said if it was every sky mobile customer that there is an easier way to do it and sky mobile should just be emailing or writing to everyone to inform them and before stopping people using their sims issue them new ones and not waste people time phoning to get information. I told her there wee to many scams going around and if she did work for sky sky are aware that the police have been informed of the scams that are happening (i had sky promotions phone me previously i didn't give them any details but they still managed to order a phone on my partners account have it sent out we had it. then say it was the wrong phone and they would get royal mail to collect it (when checking the address it was going to it was a flat in Manchester) Manchester police were contacted and because I still had the phone no crime had been committed even though I had all proof and address it was being sent to they didn't want to know. Sky also were no help when they were informed. These scammers are cloning UK landline numbers and mobile phone numbers so do not trust anyone and if you get any phone calls do not give any personal details out even if they can give you partial information. If in doubt hang up (even if you block the number they will use another cloned number to phone you on).
   
   No one will deal with these scammers so they can do anything they want it's up to us to refuse to give anything. Don't even confirm name, don't say yes or no as if recorded they can use your voice to get things.

   they said something bout my sim card bein shut off! I told em 2 get lost, lol. Obvious scam.

   They said my sim card was gonna be shut down! Lol, I told em to get lost. Indian accent, couldn't understand a word.
