   Asked where she got the name and number from - she said The British Database. Usual question asking about working in a noisy environment, and 'not trying to sell you anything'.I said we were registered with the TPS and no-one had asked them to call so it was a cold call. Called the number back (got it from 1471) but the line just dropped. She said they would remove my name from their list but couldn't remove it from The british Database & suggested I Google it to find contact details.
   I can't find 'The British Database' - can anyone??

   No such database in existence just a cover story looks like they are random dialing which is illegal to start with.

   Said that I had been awarded a sum for working in a noisy environment. At this point I explained in basic Anglo-Saxon where he should go and where he might like to insert his telephone.

   Called yesterday and today and both times asked for my husband by name and said the calls were not cold calls. Yesterday I told them that I subscribed to the Telephone Preference Service and they assured me that the call wasn't a cold call. I said that it must be as neither I nor my husband had invited them to call. Telephone was put down both times. Yesterday's call gave above number but today's was "unavailable".

   Asked if I had worked in a noisy environment, said no and i'm registered with TPS. Caller got stroppy and said they weren't selling anything, I pointed out they were touting for business looking for clients so technically selling services. She got stroppy and said they were just trying to give people what they are entitled to, then hung up...

   As per Pete. Aggressive call re someone working in a noisy environment and refusing to accept that his call was a cold call and that the preferred call system did not apply. I was forced to hang up in order to end the call.

    This number has rang 3 times today on 2 occasions they hung up and 3rd I was out but found their number when I returned home and dialled 1471 to see any missed calls during the time I was not home.

    Hi everyone at the end of the day these people are just doing a job and there is other companys ringing you there there to help peolpe who worked in a noisey enviroment because the person deserves the money so lay off.

    like everyone here i got a call from these guys back in june, thought it was another one of those ppi type calls so i decided to mess with them after the lad told me theyre booking for a hearing test in the stadium of light. i got myself booked in so i can give grief to someone in person turns out i 'qualified' for for a minimum of £3000 cause ive suffered industrial deafness, after having talked to the solicitors i thought id give it a go and claim and to my amazement i got a cheque in the post a couple days ago for £3800, i hate these nuisance calls as much as the next person but this actually bought me some benefit.
