I have just had £20.96 taken out of our account by these scammers. Tried to call to get refund telephone permanently engaged. Way back in April I paid £25 dep for a service to supply internet only. We never received the service, unable to contact Supanet, which by the way are In touch investments t/a supanet and D.D. went to supatel. Look out for these scammers, what a nightmare!

As with the other comments I have been subjected to this fraud. My bank has refunded monies. But I want this lot of fraudsters brought to task. I will also contact Trading Standards & Watch Dog anyone I can think of that will investigate and challenge this. -

Yes I'm another victim.My bank promises to cancel the DD and return the FOUR months payments within 8 days and five hours!!
What a scam - the police really should get on to it - even though each amount is small - all added together must make a hansome sum. -

have just had 2.99 taken out of our account also. contacted bank and stopped d/d. why did this happen in the first place!!!! tried to ring 01282 681000 no joy but tried 0800 915 8186 as this seems to be accounts dept. but now closed will try again on monday. Going to contact trades description.

Have today (30/08/12) seen a sum of £2.99 coming out of my bank account. as with everybody above, the telephone number 0128268100 just has an engaged tone. it is for supanet and i was a customer some 5-6 years ago. as many people have suggested this is fraud. its not a computer error, its not a personal error, its fraud. the amount taken is low enough to go unseen for some time and low enough for people to say "ah its only 2.99 i cant be bothered chasing it up... too much like hard work". th banks wont be interested and nor will the police and you can see why its only £2.99.however if they do it to enough people (as it appears they are) it will build up to a pretty penny for them. i am not that concerned at loosing £2.99 however its the priniciple so this will be taken much further. hope to see some success stories here. sorry about the rant but supanet were useless 6 years ago and tried conning me out of monies hence binning them.

hello all same thing happend to me but i got though to the number in question.
they claim it was all some computer error relating to tiny comuter accounts.
all very convenient how many people will not have notests.
i have been told that they have been trying to contact afected coutomers but when i ask why i was not contacted they did not have an awnser and had my name and adresse.
total scam that shows your money is not safe in the bank

I Have noticed a unauthorised payment for £2.99 for intouch investment aka supanet from my account - i had supanet as my isp about 6 years ago and had a direct debit from them for a different amount going out each month i find it unbelievable after all this time they can take money out of my bank account without any authorisation from me i will try and contact them tomorrow on 0800 915 8186 which is the freephone number for supanets billing department
gabbyrush replied 8/21/12, 7:45 PMjust checked bank statment payment of £2.99 taken by Total care and support contacted bank as to what this was and was given the same info as everyone else they are investigating and will refund, not quite the point as not had any dealings with supanet for many years and that they are able to set up direct debit on long past information is remarkable. How many people who have not checked their statements has this happened to? Someone's making plenty -

So careful with all personal information yet a direct debit for £2.99 to Total Care & Support was set up and showed on latest statement. My bank said the company was Intouch Investments and gave me the telephone number, that is how I have found this website. Bank refunding money, but I would like to know how this has been able to take place. Bank representative I spoke to said mine was just one of many complaints regarding this company in the past few weeks.
Andrew replied 7/31/12, 9:12 AMTo put the record straight Intouch Investments, as registered in the UK, is a financial services company and it is not connected with these direct debits in any way. Supanet, the company behind this, have registered the same company name overseas which it seems is out of the juristiction of the UK. All enquiries should be directed towards Supanet and not to Intouch Investments based in Somerset. We are as fed up with this as everybody else. -

Had a direct debit of £2.99 taken from my bank account which i had not authorized. My bank looked into this and said the company Supernet had set up the DDR. I have never heard of them so have no idea how they got my info. I have been calling their number repeatedly but always get, this line is busy try again later.

Lizzy & Dee mentioned the company "Supernet" this was a company I have totalcare & support for £2.99 when I purchased a Tiny computer, Tiny went bust 6 months after (around 4 - 5yrs ago)!!!!
Looks to be a scam and the banks should be blocking direct debit request from both companies.

I today have also noticed this £2.99 dd coming out of my account for over 12 months which was not authorised have tried calling on 3 different tel numbers on surprisingly no reply on any on them or on hold for ages, have been onto the bank who have cancelled with immediate effect and will ensure a refund from them or through the bank it just goes to show small amounts go un noticed but how many people have been affected by this!!!
