It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Their aim is to persuade me to believe their lies and allow them to infect it with something that would be very serious if I fell for their story that they represent Talk Talk or B.T. It varies. Like with the other two calls, there were only a few rings before they gave up so they could try to trick the next person on their electronic list. They have become sophisticated, which is why they are able to use different numbers each time. The numbers are all as fake as the callers themselves, but unfortunately they must catch some people out or they would not keep trying day after day. I have stopped answering such calls and have not answered any of those received today.
