Very suspicious. Claim to be a service stopping nuisance calls. Ask to confirm all sorts of information, staring with public stuff (address, telephone) progressing to private stuff like expiry date of credit card!

Have had 4 calls today from this number claiming to be from telephone preference man age meant service regarding upgrading service. Always Asian sounding lady with very English name. Have heard about similar scams so when asked if I continue to get harassment calls I told them yes and this is one of them!
captainbeefheart replied 5/8/18, 2:50 PMJust had a series of calls from them, claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Management Service. Ended up shouting at them, new scam is that these people want to involve you in a discussion. I said it was a scam, TPS don't ring peop[le up. They've used a similar name to try to con people.
