Always get calls from this and similar numbers (different last 4 digits) always the same thing about debt collection. Asked for my number to be taking of the system many time, still get calls from too many numbers. My new tactic is answering every call , not talking and testing how long it takes them to hang up after saying hello 20 times.

Never answered the phone to any of these numbers,as soon as I see a 01 number or 0800 then a good guess means its PPI or Debt mgr.ment and now the latest one, trying to get hold of your Pension Pot....I keep sending the numbers to O2 but nothing seems to change...

when you DONT ANSWER, then your number is just put back into the computer dialler system, and will be rung again once a day (or more) until someone ACTUALLY answers.
Best thing to do is answer, listen then say no thank you, can you please remove my number form the system please.
If you do that, then people respond, and WILL remove your number, meaning you wont be bothered again. simple!
Answer aggressively or cheekily ordering someone to remove their number will not get the results you require. Once you shout down the phone to them and hang up, the agent on the other side has to record that is what you done, so screaming at someone saying "WHERE DID YOU GET MY NUMBER, REMOVE MY NUMBER" will not work. your number will not be removed that way. period.
this is designed to help you all, if you do what I wrote here then most decent people WILL remove your number from the database if you listen to the reason for the call, tell them your not interested and ask politely to be removed from database. Simple logic really.
hanging up is prob worst thing to do because your numbber automatically goes straight back in the system.

Steven I think you need to get out more you seem to enjoy the calls from telemarketers! This site is for warning people of issues not of boasting about keeping them on the line for as much of your day as possible! Like it bothers them just eats away their working hours. I'm sure they'd rather a pointless chat for ten mins than to be told to fcuk off twenty times in that ten minutes! Stop encouraging them you psychopath.
