Irrespective of whether this is a call from Scottish Power, it is highly intrusive and unwanted harassment. Will now block the number as a spam caller or scammer. It is better to be safe than sorry.

Kept calling 2+ times a day for multiple days, phone had it marked as spam. I picked up after a few days and challenged them on this and the person claimed "because they send out so many phone calls we are marked as spam."
Phone call was to try and book a smart meter. They offered to give me account info to prove it's them but, even if it is them, calling this many times over multiple days back to back is absolutely suspicious and ridiculous. Don't trust the number

Since yesterday I had 2 missed calls from Glasgow. They said they are Scottish Power, and were quite pushy and rude when i said i don't want a new smart meter.
