I'm usually good with detecting nuisance call like this one but on this occasion I was ecpecting a call from a company and seeing I missed a call from this number, I called it back and made a further mistake by listening to the short message which said "This is a marketing call, you don't have to cll us back BUT PRESS 9 IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR FROM US AGAIN". My immediate reaction was just that, I pressed 9 and suddenly it dawned on me.
I found this site after a quick search on Google. I fell duped - not because what ever that has cost me but for being taken for a fool. I am so frigging annoyed by this and am now on standby to be very nasty to the next uninvited call I get - on my private and personal mobile phone...

The usual routine would be to ignore it, which I what I do as a matter of principle when I receive calls from PRIVATE or WITHELD numbers.

I am always cautious when it comes to unknown numbers. After receiving this call I decided to check it out as I have been receiving a few annonymous calls over the last few days. Just reading the comments on here I black listed the number.

they called my mobile today and hung up before I answered. I called back using my land line. A recorded message said "the call you received was a marketing call. we may or may not contact you again".
I think they are just collecting real people telephone numbers to sell them on to other marketing companies. Don't do what I did because they now have both my mobile number and the land line number. Best thing to do is if you don't know the caller ignore them

I have had several calls on my mobile at least three times a day from this number which I refuse to answer. If I don't know who it is and they don't leave a message, then why would I want to speak to them. Very annoying, wish they would just leave everyone alone.
