    Claimed to be from Microsoft, terrible line, tied himself up in knots when I questioned him. Started to be abusive so kept him on the line for a bit winding him up to stop him calling anyone else.

    Claimed to be calling from BT open reach about my internet speed asking me to conduct a series of speed tests. They then ask me to goto anydesk.com and download their software. A quick google search alerted me to the scam. They can then gain access to your personal information remotely. I advised them I was not willing to download the file and they hung up

    We are getting error messages on our server - asked me to google speedtest.net to do a speedtest - kept him hanging on for a bit until he asked if I knew how to **** myself - so I asked him to explain :) He hung up - definitely not BT!
