They rang me - I hadn't a clue what he was taking about - I told him he shouldn't have my mobile number anyway - And I wasn't interested in what he had to say noe was I going to confirm to him any information he asked for. I told him not to ring me again and to remove my number from the data base

Just had a call from this number saying that i made a overpayment to a finace company and i said i hadent so he said mention 3 companys and i still said no i havent a loan from any one so he said he would remove my details from his date a base.first call i have has but we will see

Missed call on my mobile so I rang them back....woman telling me the same has she told you, but it was 3 cataloge names first then 3 banks whom I have never dealt with, or had a loan + I have never had a credit card. They knew my mobile number & my name!!!!! She did also say they would remove my name from there data list too...Like you said we will see...They will get the wrath of my tongue next time...hoope they will record that||| -

Really worried as I confirmed my name with this caller as I did not realise the type of call it was. Also keep getting texts for free lottery tickets. Anyone have any advice on what I should do as I've not really had any experience with this type of thing!

Keeps on calling. Sometime phone goes dead after a period of silence, otherwise it's the same cold call mentioned; they can reclaim PPI insurance missold on a loan.

I've been told by various callers from this number that they are the 'consumer advice line' and 'consumer finance direct' - all trying to sell PPI and if you dare cahllenge them, they become very rude and aggressive. Whenever I have a spare 10 minutes in work, i will phone them repeatedly to ask if they've been missold PPI. They go mental!

The woman who keeps phoning from this number is a complete lunatic.She phones all hours and asks for different people all the time. After several calls I took her number and phoned back to complain. She answered again would not give me her name or company details. She describes this number as belonging to a very important consumer place but will not discuss what products she sells. Keeps asking for details of who I am, my full name, DOB and address. When I complained about the amount of calls she had a go at me and said I was harrassing her and she did not have my phone number. Very strange woman. Never any backgroung noise and does not belong to a call centre. Ive threatening her with the police for being a nuisance and she just laughs.

i work at reactiv media and there are differemt departments there so could be a number of things, just ask where the details they have came from and in 48 hours they will tell you + no one works past half 6 or on sundays ever. so no point exagerating and also we get a lot of wrong numbers we don't cold call, we have the information infront of us we have to do data protection with every cutsomer so we know its correct person.
if it was a sales call we would just try sell it to anyone not the person we ask for..
