   I was called by this number at 10.00hrs today, I answered - they dropped the line.
   
   If you call the number back - you get a message saying "You were called today on behalf on one of our clients".
   
   Why would any of their clients pay them to call and drop the call upon connection - apart from just to verify the line?

   I keep getting calls from this number which I never answer. I think that if you answer or reply to calls from these people they will know that the number is live, and not only will they keep hassling you, but they will also sell your number to other rogue companies.

   This number rang my mobile and let it ring just once, normally I would call back as I have family with similar codes but I googled this number to find it is some typw of tele marketing and probably would have cost me a fortune to return their call. The ombudsman or someone should be able to stop these callers, and who gives them our number in the first place. The government wonder why we refuse to tick boxes for surveys into statistics, I just hope they have had a few calls like thisbut then we would probably get charged for it or they would claim it back under official expenses.

   the person calls and asks for someone then refuses to say which company is calling. well the answer to that was, I am sorry if you want to talk to me you say who you are so I can decide whether I want to talk to you .. goodbye

   an hartlepool number,googled it and quite a few concerns over this. did`nt call them back as i didn`t want a astronomical phonebill. be safe and steer clear!!!
