In the second call from the impersonators today all I could hear was the usual crackling, a give-away. Perhaps the gruffness of my voice put them off. Nobody spoke. Then they rang off. It is not unusual for this to happen, after I have told them they should be locked up, which I had done earlier.

A third call was received - silent, like the last one, apart from the crackling, so I must have upset them - what I intended to do. Since I made the first report a large number of similar complaints have appeared on another site - all of them made today I think. Tomorrow the crooks will be using another fake number. If they use it to call me they will get what they deserve.
