There are numerous complaints about this number on other sites, especially from elderly people who, like me, object to the short-staffed N.H.S. wasting money. Such unsolicited calls put people's backs up, especially after it has taken all day to get through to make a hospital appointment. A neighbour living alone, going to answer what turned out to be a nuisance call, fell and cut her face badly. Most N.H.S. staff are good, friendly and earn respect, but there is something wrong with their management especially when they proclaim they will not tolerate the cancellation of an appointment even when days in advance and there are good reasons. Like these calls, that shows no respect. When I heard the difficult-to-understand artificial recorded voices I put the 'phone down. Someone else has pointed out there are supposed to be forms available in hospital waiting areas for people to use to make comments, if they want to, but they are often not there. (Other people have made more scathing comments than this!)
