   Just received a "missed" call. Google revealed it was Mark Bates Disability Insurance. Can only assume it relates to a recent wheelchair purchase ex "CareCo" Their website offered an initial "free" insurance for several month (which I declined - but nevertheless received!) Can only assume this is a "follow up" to try and persuade us to buy.

   I also bought a wheelchair from Careco and had the free several months insurance. I did take up Mark Bates insurance only as I thought if I hit or damage someone whilst using it I could be sued, also wheelchairs cannot be covered under household contents insurance. Tell Mark Bates your not interested and look at Surwise much much cheaper but bear in mind Your third party liability whilst using your wheelchair. Mark Bates will stop calling if you say No.

   I'm getting the same, didn't ask for the insurance, didn't want it yet still got it and my personal details shared with this company who have been harassing me since one month into the 6 months and continue to do so. If I want to take out insurance I can do it myself.

   Mark Bates is a specialist Insurance Broker for over 50's and disabled people. They are a no threat caller if you're not interested ask to be removed from the're caller list. Polite genuine business that I have dealt with and had no problems for a number of years. A no hard sell telemarketer.

   Constant calls asking for a named person, been told no one of that name resides in the property and asked to remove from their database - calls continue.

   This number called on 30.3.15 at around 12:55pm, but I let my answering machine answer and the called did not leave a message. An internet search came up with Mark Bates Ltd, connected to Premiere Care Insurance.
