Scammer calling from "Microsoft" technical department wanting remote access to computer. Has called several times and tries not to allow you to speak...had to shout loudly over him (an Indian man) that I knew he was a scammer.

This is a clear Scam but i fell for it and lost £2000.FEll for the remote control of my computer and it looked like they were genuinely trying to fix issues on my computer.Asked for small payment of £7.50 for service and when I went online banking to pay they nicked £2000. Reported it to my bank and luckily I got reimbursed by my bank. Harsh lesson learned !!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT LIKE I DID !

Clearly a scam, trying to get remote access to my computer - DON'T FALL FOR IT! Caller with very obvious Asian accent, says they're from Microsoft! Asking me to switch on my computer, as it has a fault!

rang at 7.30am yesterday and just before 8 again this morning. I just picked up and put down the phone straight away, so didn't speak. But have had this scam call before on my previous home phone number! I will report to the Information Commissioner.

Guy calls from Asian scam centre "about the Windows computer" - classic cold call trying to get recipient to assign remote access to his PC so that caller can demand payment to restore use. Not even competent - you'd think these guys would work on the customer interface nit - i.e. use people who speak English correctly, and do not claim to have unlikely, Christian forenames.

I would like to understand how they get to present as UK local numbers.
