Called me several times yesterday each time asking for a different person common names Smith, Jones etc. Call centre in background when I said I was none of the people they wanted and they had a wrong number they asked me if I had had any loans in the past.... told them I was not Smith, Jones etc they said it didnt matter and had I any loans - very pushy

They rang my husbands work phone but asked for me yesterday , when my husband asked who it was they hung up. I rang the number which came up as Kingston upon Hull. The Asian sounding man who answered said he had not called me and wasn't in Kingston upon Hull but Bamber Bridge. They have rung my husbands phone again today, it's come up as a missed call.

I have been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis for about a week now, sometimes 2-3 times a day. I have a facility on my phone to block the call and have now blocked it after googling the number and finding this forum.

They tried a different tack this time. They've managed to get information about one of my credit cards and the date when I originally took it out. Then tried to tell me that I had been unwittingly charged more interest over and above what I should have been charged, and that I was due a refund. Not likely as I only took out the card to take advantage of a good balance transfer deal. As soon as they heard that was a dead end they asked if I had any other loans or cards. I relied that I had nothing I wished to dicuss with them and hung up.
