    I have not answered as I have no reason for a marketing conversation. They are persistant though, 4 times in two days!

    Pretended to be EE - I had just upgraded so asked them what my new contract was - they got flustered and claimed their computer system had obviously not been updated so I asked them what my previous contract was - they aid they couldn't tell me for security reasons!- I hung up. SCAM!

    Called persistently over the past few days. Knew (or guessed) that I had rung EE last week which made me think it was genuine. However then tried to push Black Friday deals etc. Did not give any details. Would call EE back directly as opposed to giving details over this line to be safe.

    I mean a quick search on Google past this site shows this number on the EE website, ignore everyone saying it's fake because they asked for a password, ofc they're gonna ask for your password and or security info, they're not just gonna let whoever answers the phone upgrade contracts or buy additional products on an account. It'd be more annoying if they didn't ask for security info.

    Said it was EE but number does not look like EE (usually 150) and went on to ask me security questions which I declined to answer and hung up - they have tried again today and I rejected call - interestingly my Pixel 3 flags the call as possible spam.
