    Called our TPS registered line wanting to "review the telephone contract" and asking "are you the person responsible for the telephones". Only identified as "onecom" (who are not our provider) when directly asked who they were.

    Lady purported to be wholesale BT reseller and said our costs would go up and wanted to speak to account holder.
    Put the phone down and do not disclose any account details is my advice!

    Calle the office saying that it was BT asking who deals with the account as the tariff was up for review. When questioned about our account type it turned out to be a company called onecom.

    Dodgiest of all sales techniques!

    Claimed to be from BT/Openreach. Claimed the bill was going to go up and they could save me. Please supply details to confirm ID. Turned out they were gathering the details, they only had the company registered details which don't match my BT details, so they ain't from BT.
