I was told they had record of me being involved in a car accident. I told the caller (Liverpool accent) this was untrue and caller conceded that 'the wrong box must have been ticked' on some imaginary paperwork. They did not press me further. Hopefully they will not call again.

This number called my mobile and I ignored it which I do routinely. Then called it back from a switchboard number (so would be unknown to them) - permanently engaged. Quite constent with a dodgey number.

I have had calls to my mobile on various occasions from these people telling me that I have had an RTA within the "last 6 months". Having pointed out that I do not live in UK, do not own a car with UK plates, do not have UK insurance and have not been involved in any RTA for years I demanded to speak with a manager. After some discussion I was assured that my details would be erased from their records, but of course they couldn't guarantee that companies to whom they have "passed on", ie sold, would not be calling me. Fat chance!! Ignore any calls with 1515 in the number, unless you are expecting a call from Liverpool.

This number keeps calling me. I don't answer then they ring again from a main line number. .. I called back but was unable yo underdtsnd the co name from the recorded message. I have blocked after reading the comments on here.

Some idiot asked for my Mum by name, when I asked why he wanted to speak with her he said she'd been in a car accident and was due compensation.
I pointed out that she died in 2009 and had never driven a car in her life! The only connection between my mum's name and my phone number is from when I dealt with her insurance company after she died. -

Called saying I'd been involved in an accident in last 2 years I corrected them and they said would remove my details and sorry to bother me would not happen again. Called again a few weeks later saying I info had not been updated and would do so now, have called again since nuisance call ignore .

Angry woman saying I had been in a road traffic accident recently. I told her I haven't and that I keep receiving calls like these and I find it insensitive that they prey on accidents whether they have happened or not, trying to get people to sign up/ part with money. She replied that she wasn't trying to get money, she was trying to get it to the caller, I said I didn't believe that there was no money to be made for her/ the company and she sharply replied "well the world doesn't run on charity". She was deluded and very rude in the way she spoke to me. I began to wonder how the con might continue had I falsely replied "yes" to her original statement, I have no doubt I would have been led down a dubious road and been scammed. I told her to unsubscribe me from all lists/ databases they had me on and she tried to contest and then finally told me she had better things to be doing that talking to me - as if she wasn't wasting my time in the first place! These people need to be stopped, they have no manners and I left the call feeling like a victim and shaken

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn't met any accident and applying claims. Also I asked that how did you get my name correctly but wrong info about claims ..etc. As soon as I asked this the person went silent for 5 secs and disconnected the phone.

I answered the phone to them last month when I got my first call not knowing the number I answered incase it was important, but it wasn't they argued with me telling me I'd be in some kind of accident! Which I know I have not. So after a few mins arguing with them I hung. Bit since I've had them call me every few days!! Finally answered it again yesterday and they told me I'd won some kind of case for ppi and that I was owed nearly £3000! So I told them that they are all lairs and hung up! But I've now gone through my network provider and had the number blocked that way!!!

This number rang and asked for my son by name. It is my number not my sons and he would never give my number out. However when he was researeching for insurance quotes online a while ago, I also researched a few quotes under his name but my neighbour. Therefore these details have obviously been sold onto motor accident insurance claims or whatever they call themselves as that is the only time his name and my number have been used together. When I first got a call I was horrified as the female caller asked for him saying it was about the car accident he was injured in......and I thought she was ringing to inform me he had been hurt. Now I simply say , I dont know the person they are asking for and that this is a new number so it must have been the previous person who had this number that they are looking for. It shuts them up at least.

Basically they're a fishing company, poorly-paid scammers doing blanket cold calling asking "have you had an accident in past 3 years" (citing they have bogus "information at hand") until, inevitably, someone says "yes". Cue then a selling job about how they can claim compo for you (for a % price). Not a scam; just a sad reflection of compensation culture and call-centre mentality. Hang up immediately; or if you want to be arsey, engage person in pointless conversation (though it isn't really his/her fault).

reckon I had an accident in the past 3 weeks which I have not. Carried on arguing with me even though I repeated this again. Asked where he got my details from and he said a company in Leeds. Asked him if he got my details from a price comparison site or similar and he hung up!

This number keeps ringing me. The 1st time i answered. The (real!) man on the line told me i could claim for an accident i'd had. I hung up. I must have a HUGE payout due as i seem to have terrible amnesia and have no memory whatsoever about this accident.... They have rung multiple times since. I ignored it and have now added them to my blocked numbers list.

Got a call today from this number asked for me by my first name. Bit odd!! Then told me I was involved in a bump, I said no and where did you get my details from they said its passed to us Accident Solutions from the Trading Floor, they have a website I was told. I told them their information is wrong and not to call again.

this number has been calling me several times per day for around 2 weeks, when I answered it was a telemarketing company telling me I had been involved in an accident (I haven't) when I responded with "well you know more about this than I do" the caller hung up and didn't call again so I will definitely be using that tactic in the future
