    The same as acr, recorded message saying I'd opted to receive financial calls. Then went on about debts. In my case it's not true for both cases.
    I presume if I'd waited I would have been asked to transfer to another number and been charged lots of money for nothing?

    Received pre-recorded message with well-spoken male voice about writing off 70% of debts above £10,000. Said several times to press 5 to respond. Isuspect that this is probably a legitimate but parasitic legal or financial service who will really help but will want a big percentage of whatever they gain for you.
