Contacted by someone from Direct Legal Services who asked for me by name - a debt collection company who were apparently updating their records about a minor prang I had a few years ago which I only REPORTED to my insurance company and didn't make a claim on as there was no damage. Asked me if I had received my monies yet and if not they could handle this for me (for a fee of course). I have never had any dealings with this company, I have never contacted them or given them permission to use my details on their records or to pursue anyone for any damages. I work in a busy hospital department and have only worked in this particular post a few months so I can only assume that my new insurance company has sold my details without my permission as my old company did not have this information. They keep calling despite being asked not to contact me ever again.
