Phoned me saying they were Scottish power I replied okay I will ring Scottish power back to make sure it’s not a scam ect,
As I don’t and won’t give details to anyone that rings me,
The lady then replied okay I just need to ask u a few questions, I replied I’m not going to answer Any if your questions, unless I ring up Scottish power muself she then asked me to hold the line, I very quickly hung up, blocking number don’t answer any questions this number is a big scam!!! -

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

This is Cashplus banks new security call... I checked first with Cashplus and they confirmed it was them and safe. When you make a larger online transfer they now call you to ensure it was you before the payment clears through them. They are based in Redditch and yes some of the staff do have an accent but it is safe and trustworthy. If in doubt call Cash Plus banks main line first to triple check before calling them back.

Answered said hello, silence, said hello once more, silence, then i heard someone pick up the other line. waited for them to introduce themselves but after 5 seconds they hung up. How very rude. I greeted them twice, admittedly, they did not hear it but that's their systems fault for leaving such a big delay in me answering and them being connected.
Also, as a side note, I owe scottish Power about 500pouds so it was probably them, but as they did not identify.... what can i do -

The quality of the line and accent of caller suggested it was from a call centre on the Indian Sub-continent. Caller said she was calling about my Scottish Power account. I asked her what about it, she said she would need me to answer my security questions before she would say why she was calling me! I said 'Good day.'
