They called me from 01582570172 on 10/12/2015 and said they are phoning to remove a virus from my computer and that I should allow them remote access to my computer. I said, "you must think we are all stupid" and called him a &$£! or similar and then I hung up.

V Aggressive. Told me they were calling every 'computer user' (yes, when questioned she confirmed that meant EVER PERSON IN THE WORLD) to see if they had downloaded a file that would harm their computer. Wouldn't give details of company's address, site or registered number. Eventually got transferred to someone else as I was being difficult, who in turn freaked out and hung up when I questioned their intentions.

Caller told me she was from the company I bought my PC from & there were issues due to downloads. She asked me to go to my computer...... at that point I realised she was trying to access my PC illegally. I asked her if she was going to try & extract financial information from me & she hung up.

- WARNING - Its a scam. DON'T ANSWER / HANG UP!! Its the old chestnut that 'your computer is running slowly due to malicious websites'. "We are a microsoft certified.......".
If you do answer, ask them their business address as you want to pass it on to the Police - The call will be terminated.

Caller said there was a problem with my computer. Asked him if he was same person making a similar call from a withheld number earlier today who used foul abusive language when I asked if he had heard of the telephone preference service. This time the caller rang off immediately.
