    Had 5-6 calls from this number in the past week - some of them silent/instant hang-ups, but most as someone calling from “computer support department” (generic as hell) at “Windows Company” (not MicroSoft? Funny that) about a fault on my computer.

    NB: I have a Mac, on which I do not have a Bootcamp installation of Windows.

    Offside at best, scammy as all balls at worst.

    pc support offered, when we rejected this and refused to continue the conversation the indian sounding gentleman on the phone stated there is a bomb in our building and hung up. currently going through local police to follow protocol.

    Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn't a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn't have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

    Tried to get me to connect my laptop to thier "microsoft tech".. I strung to indian chap on phone costing him money pretending i was connecting my laptop then informed him he was calling Scotland Yard's Fraud Office. After a few moments to ask what SYFO was he hung up.... Guess they won't be calling my number again.... Thieving so and so's...

    Indian women with family noise in background did not introduce herself and said "your computer department". Well we don't have a computer dept so told her to P@ss off. The people are no more than common thieves, but seem above the law.

    Yet another 'your windows computer is infected' trying to make you give them your licence number. i kept asking where he got my number from and he said from windows, when i said i actually don't have a windows computer he said he know i do from when he 'forked me' a few days ago, I didn't understand what he was saying so he spelt out what he had said. Not had that one before. Can nothing be done to stop these people, where do they get my number from.

    Called to tell me my PC was infected and as a Microsoft Support Company they would help me if I logged on, connected to their support engineer who would then take over my PC and fix things. As I am a software support technician myself I know this to be a scam. Put him on hold for 10 minutes until he dropped the line.
    This number should be reported to the police.
