Started recently - now calling regularly - a recorded message says press 9 or write to them -don`t say what they want. We are ex directory and on TPS still getting calls from these parasites! Time they were all put out of business.

I am registered with the TPS. I googled the company and called them to obtain the name of the Managing Director so that I could make a formal complaint to the TPS. Was told his name is Ben Winchester

So they have successfuly not told you what the call is about, they have withheld the companies name and they expect you to write to them if wish to vent your anger at a real person

Scam call. Asked to confirm name and address of one of the occupants then started asking if they had a credit card. When asked why they were enquiring about credit cards they hung up. Caller was a foreign (prob Indian/Pakistani) woman over a bad line. Registered with TPS.

Called 09:56 regarding Packaged Bank Accounts. Pressed 9 to be deleted, so they rang back at 15:28. From the recorded message sounds like they are part of a group of telemarketers/ scammers based in Swansea breaking every rule there is.

I just had this line installed and have had a huge amount of scam calls. I found the number belonged to an elderly couple in the area who now have special number. I'm guessing they were on some sort of scammers list. I've had them all - the PPI, the energy saving and the 'microsoft' one! It's so bad I no longer answer the phone and dial 1471 to find out who it was.
This is not the first time this number called.
