Had 2 calls, including on my mobile after purchasing an electrical appliance. Thankfully I had read the earlier reviews and ignored the calls. As others have said, went with Boots as they normally have good customer service, but for this they should be ashamed of themselves & disassociate themselves from this company/practice. Has put me off buying from them in the future. I sincerely hope they don't ring me again or I will be making a complaint to Boots head office. If I want insurance I will buy it! I don't want to be badgered!!

They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for £200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only £1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.

I bought a dishwasher from Boots appliances last night on the internet and received my first call this morning! I gave my mobile number and have just set the number to auto-reject in future so it wont actually disturb me in future.

This is Boots trying to sell directly. Boots use automated dialing and will call every day. If you pick up you'll get music until Boots have a sales guy available. If you hang up boots will just call again. You cannot call them back (its a machine). Boots will never stop calling you, even if you ask them. The only way to make them stop is not buy againthing from Boots or Boots.com. If you have done, your screwed.

I ordered a tumbledryer and within 10 minutes both my mobile and home home had been called by this Manchester number. I looked up the number online and saw that it was Boots Warranty and read the comments. I answered the next call and happily confirmed the delivery date. Inevitably the extended warranty was pushed - and pushed - and pushed and although I said 3 times that I did not wish to go ahead finally I had to be rude and say that I WOULD NOT BE TAKING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY! All rather annoying after an excellent ordering experience online.

I just bought a washing machine from boots online and in less than an hour got a call on both my landline and mobile. I was having my hair cut at the time of the calls so I did not answer. After reading the above comments if they call me back they better take some insurance out for themselves . I think it is disgusting that a company like Boots are so quick to sell on my number

I didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer - I always check unknown numbers online before answering any calls from them. It would make sense that it is Boots Kitchen Appliances as our delivery is scheduled for tomorrow - we purchased a fridge freezer for my husband's elderly parents, so we've had to warn them to keep saying "No thank you", if they get any calls from these people. Thanks guys for posting info. on this number.

This probably is boots kitchen appliances insurance cover sales people. I ordered an oven today because Boots Kitchen Appliances have great prices and availability. Plus you get point on your clubcard. THESE guys ALWAYS ring up to sell the insurance but are always polite when I stop them and explain that I never take out any kind of insurance cover on electrical appliances and over the years the money I have saved is multiple times the expense for repairs/replacement. If it's keeping someone in a job all well and good. At least they are polite and know when to give up.

Ordered a dishwasher from boots appliances Monday. Had phone from these guys a day later confirming details of delivery then a cleverly worded pitch on insurance/ warranty cover. Tell you the details about it, offer to replace your item once it can't be repaired and will send paperwork out to you which you can cancel then if don't want it. Say will use payment details from purchase to set up so make sure you stop them there, say not interested otherwise stuck with £6 prem every month by direct debit. Not everyone is wise to these selling practices so be wary !! Clearly one of these bubbly call centres you see on the TV !
