   Had a couple of calls from this pond scum, last time we used the landline was a couple of months ago as we do everything via mobile and only keep a landline for broadband - so now i've unplugged the phone completely and these feckwits can ring until doomsday, they'll get nowhere with me.

   I think they sometimes withold their number when they ring- stupidly I answered it once and now they are phoning daily. Sometimes twice daily. I've always had problems with nuisance phone calls, including this number, but recently it is getting worse. And if I don't answer they leave me an automated voicemail asking for someone who is definitely not me!

    Asked for a family member but didn't explain why or how they'd got my number, or the nature of the call, had to ask several times before the woman gave me the company name, she didn't want to explain what the call was about or how they'd got my number and just apologized for the call, good thing with android phones is the amount of free app's to bar nuisance calls so bring it on ;)

    This is a company that uses bully boy tactics to get money out of you. They buy debts for pennys and then harrass you into paying back the debt. Firstly they have no right to ask as you do not have the debt with them and secondly there is no contract between you and them. If they ring just ignore them and report them to the OFT. They cannot visit you at home with your permission so do not let them bully you. They are just a bunch of clowns.
