Call clamining to be about refunding money from PPI, which I've NEVER taken out. Rude aggressive woman, who refused to take no for an answer, didn't even draw breath on her spiel, and I eventually had to put the phone down on her.

Keep calling even tho I didn't answer, when the son accidently answered cos I wasn't near the phone he told me who thery were. It is no use you asking/telling them to remove your number because they don't. I actually changed my number for this reason, and guess what? today they tried ringing my new number. It is now set to block and no matter what you tell them they just keep trying.

3 times a day calls?!?!? Advised before that I do not and never have wished to make a claim for an injury I have never had!! Requested no further calls - ignored.
Have rung and left message to remove my number!papasmurf replied 4/5/12, 11:38 AMThey won't remove your number, I tried month's ago, even got abusive with them myself. Threatened to report them to ofcom, watchdog etc but they keep calling (different person tries from the call centre). Just try to block the number if you can

same scammy call
My advice is to always do what I do with these scam type calls;
1. use your phone to make a recording of 1 second of silence. (keep this 1 second silence in your ringtone or media folder)
2.Save the recording and call it scamtone or something.
3. then enter the scammy number into your address book as ; scam1, scam2, scam 3 etc. Each one represents a different scammy number that you get over time.
4. finally, associate the 1 second of silence with each scammy number as a ringtone.
Simples - they can ring and ring and if you dont hear it you dont pick it up. If it is associated to a name ; Scam1 etc, you will never be tempted to ring it back from your call history.
I know it looks like unneccesary hassle but it works everytime. they just get fed up ringing.
