I ordered something from Argos' website a few weeks ago while doing something else at the same time, and neglected to reverse the default status on the "let us sell your number to everyone" tick box. Now I'm getting 2-3 calls a day from this number. My own silly fault for swimming with sharks.

Received a call from this number regarding compensation for an accident I had last year. When I told the caller I wasn't interested, he said "well, you're just going to keep getting calls then!" I said, "Well, you can do, but you'd be an idiot as i just won't answer" and he said "and you're a slag!". I replied "I don't think that's very professional!" and he put the phone down on me.

Got a call off this number claiming to be a company handling information about an accident I had in December. The caller told me the other driver had filed a successful claim for compensation for minor injuries sustained from his seatbelt (the accident happened at barely 1 mile an hour, so there were no such injuries), and that I, as the other driver, had a right to such compensation too. I asked the caller why I wasn't hering this information from my insurer and he said that my insurer wouldn't inform me about this as I hadn't been hospitalised. I told him I wasn't interested, I hadnt sustained any injuries, thanked him and put the phone down. He immediately called back 3 more times after that, none of which I answered. Appears to be a scam. I have no interest in bogus compensation claims.

Contacted a year on after being in a car accident and was told about compensation. It is a scam and will most likely leed to you receiving a criminal record over fraud. Block the number and numbers related as they will keep trying!

A survey that I supposedly took some months ago, they asked if I have ever worked in a noisy environment and did it affect my hearing, after saying "pardon" about 5 times I tried another tactic,I continually ask for "their policy number" this seems to have done the trick as I haven't heard from them in weeks now.
