   Also had calls from 0161 201 0040 ('Jubilee & Wilson Accounts Dept').
   
   Typical pattern: "We called you x-months ago & you agreed to place advertising with us in a crime prevention booklet" & when I denied the call their first line was, "But we have recorded evidence" (great business approach to customer relationships & satisfaction!). I have requested a copy of the recording several times & they agreed to send it, but it never arrived.
   
   They have sent invoice; payment reminders; continuous phone calls, usually on Private Caller (but occasionally slip in a mobile to catch you out). Their current postal address is Office 1001, 26-28 Hilton House, Hilton Street, Manchester M1 2EH.
   
   This all started a couple of days after I took out some legit advertising (though now wondering about that) with Marshall Design & Print (also in Manchester). Interestingly Jubilee & Wilson quoted a password 'on my account' that I had only ever used with Marshall D & P.
   
   I did manage to get a copy of the booklet sent through: nicely litho-printed but adverts stapled into middle inkjet printed onto photo paper (booklet also had J&W's old address of 137 Jubilee Road, Boarshaw, Middleton M24 2LY printed on back cover so at least 2 or 3 years old). When I contacted other advertisers in the booklet (which were spread from northern Scotland to Devon, not exactly 'in my area') the telephone numbers were either non-existent or the advertisers had been having the same problem as me; sometimes aggressive calls, threats of debt recovery measures etc. One Water Board (PLC) I spoke to stated that the advert contravened their corporate branding specifications. A couple of hospitals & a Cheshire Home were unaware that their names were in the booklet & were going to investigate whether invoices had simply been sent & passed for payment without query.
   
   Ironically, Pages 12 & 13 of their booklet give great advice on how to be sure that you are not a victim of scams & fraud … which I am applying.
   
   Have also started receiving invoices from other 'publishing companies': Revolution (I had never heard of them before the first invoice arrived), postal address in Clifton, Bristol but letters posted in Manchester). Date of original agreed business was supposedly February 2014 (my company has not been advertising formally since mid-2013).
   
   Had a 'debt collector' call me from a mobile number recently informing me that a County Court Judgement (CCJ) had been obtained against me by a Phillips Media (Manchester) for over £2200 but I could settle immediately or debt collectors would be round in an hour & 15 minutes to serve the CCJ. I agreed for the bailiffs to come around … but no-one appeared. I had never heard of Phillips Media before.
   
   Still receiving calls (go through to my answerphone) & invoices from Revolution (latest with letter & threat of court action).
   
   So, beware. Better to just put phone down before any real conversation entered into.
   
   Everything has been reported to Action Fraud who have advised me from the first invoice (April) that it is a classic scam & to ignore any correspondence & not answer the phone or enter into any conversations with them. I now know just about all of the operators at Action Fraud :)
   
   Police won't get involved unless there is a tangible threat to personal safety so report everything & every encounter to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
