Same experience as other reports: Caller claims to be able to give £2000 grant for recycling windows and asks how many windows would be available for recycling. Couldn't answer my question as to who funds the grant.

This lot have managed to snarcmy 91 year old Mum. We googled the phone number and found this site (wow) and told them to lay off about 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, Mum is at that stage where she is still living independently but has become very vulnerable.Earlier this week they browbeat her into having an estimate this morning. I went along to look after her.
The time of the appointment passed. Then the phone rang, I answered. I told the woman that my husband had asked he company not to contact my mother again. "What company?"
They are very careful never to identify themselves, so I couldn't answer. Oh, and the appointment was actually 2pm according to her, so I clearly knew nothing. She then became extremely rude to me and slammed the phone down.Not Happy replied 6/8/17, 12:21 PMUpdate later, I want to ientify this lot to the police -

On average, we receive 5-10 calls a day from this company. Like other people who have commented on Tellows, the company ask "are you aware about the National Recycling Scheme for Doors and Windows, backed by the UK government". The staff are very rude and abusive. I have spoken to colleagues who have received similar calls from this company and there is no doubt about the fact that this is a total scam!!!

This is a scam company pretending to offer recycling "discounts" off of windows. The guy who then visit your property (Matt) is a total con merchant.. they have no windows to sell, he is just trying to get a deposit off of you.

I am registered with TPS and the automated calls keep coming. This purports to be about a windows scrappage scheme with a £2k discount. Sftyer pressing the option to be removed many times, I have said I want a callback. I am waiting on a visit for a quote and will then report whoever comes to OFCOM.

A woman rang saying she was from St Helens; some recycleing company. Said she could get a grant for windows, doors conservatories or boilers. Said she would ring back later. Immediatley the phone went down a man rang. Think this is some kind of hard sell/ scam type of call.
