I received a call from this number today. When I answered they hung up a couple of seconds after I said hello. I searched this number on bing and it led me here. After reading the other comments of people stating that this number had called about PPI claims etc it reminded me of an anonymous call I got less than a week ago, when I picked up the phone it was ringing through to them and I got a pre-recorded message telling me I was legible for an injury claim as I had had an accident less than two years ago...which is nonsense. I am pretty sure this anonymous call is connected to the call I received from this number today. Definitely untrustworthy!!!

First asked if I had received the money into my bank account, then when told they had got wrong person, told me I could make a claim. Told them wasn't interested and put phone down whilst they continued to spout. This should be stopped, someone who isn't as savvy could easily be done.

I just bough new sim card for my mobile from EE. I had the sim just 3 days and this number called me. I didn't answear. All numbers which starts on 01 are scam.

Received call on my work mobile asking if I have received my PPI refund yet. I have never had PPI and certainly would not have given my work mobile number for anything like this. I told them I thought he must have the wrong number as this was my work number and he was actually calling a Government Department. He said "This is a Government Department?" When I said yes he hung up!

Rang me today. Pretended all of Uk customers with a bank account with the main banks was receiving £1200 as part of PPI insurance claim. When I asked where they were from they said HCY and were ringing all of Uk. They are just trying to get personal details. Don't pick up.

Persistent telemarketer promising I could claim PPI which I have already been repaid. He caught me at work and stupidly I gave him my name and address as I had an earlier loan with PPi which I hadn't claimed. Regretting it now. He's calling me back tomorrow unfortunately but I hope I haven't caused myself any problems. I won't reply and will try and block the number, although I know there are several others for this firm called HYC. I've also received numerous texts about PPi (probably from the same firm). I should have asked him where he got my mobile number from. I think I should inform my bank. Advice welcome.

Rung me asking if id had my momey through yet. I asked them what for and they said it was about a PPI claim i had supposedly made for my insurance. When i said i dont have ppi he said well you must have seen on the news about it to which he got told im 17 for christ sake i dont have insurance to have been able to claim back PPI money and he quickly put the phone down.

They said that as I pay the bill it is me they want to speak to about PPI. I repeated 4 times that this isn't my number and to remove it from their list ... then hung up on them -

Called by this number. Lady who spoke to me was very rude. Asked me 4 times who my mortgage was with. I said I don't have a mortgage (I still live with parents)
After 10? Minutes of trying to convince me I definitely have a mortgage she gave up -

Every time you answer one of the ensuing cold calls you validate your number and it gets sold on again.
Don't answer and set up a blockbuster or contact you can add these numbers to. -

gentleman (arse) called with latest News broadcast about banks putting aside more money for PPI esp TSB and I was entitled to £2200!! Asked where he got my number ~ NYC database was the answer...more likely random dial caller. Asked if he knew who I was. This was not nessary a he already had my details!! work that one out!! let him rattle on for 5 mins with phone on loud speaker. Did this so he would not hassle anyone else. In the end he asked for somemore personel details and I replied saying that I did not live in GB and this was a works phone. His resounding reply was that I was a D1ck and wasted his time and hung up
