young man with a northern accent knew my name and asked if i`d worked in industry.I said that i hadn`t .seemed to be a compensation scam.I told him i wasnt interested.

Received an obscene call from this number this evening - young sounding guy with northern accent. He hung up when my husband asked him what he wanted. Fortunately I am too old and experienced to be upset by it, but someone else might not be. Nasty, since he asked for the previous subscriber for this line by name.

Asked for me but did not pronounce my surname correctly. My wife asked what the call was about and the male caller refused to give any information. He was then rude and hung up.
