This guy has not stopped Calling my business line. Looking for payment for Google advertising. If he was actually from Google he would be far too busy to ring my line 6 times in 1 morning. Also started calling from a mobile number 075111786531 I've started avoiding that too.
Tim replied 2020-02-25 16:54:33Used the name James Matthews. Said he was from Google which is untrue and wanted to renew my business listing for £100 and asked for my credit card details. This is a scam. Google business listings are free and managed by the business owner. When I blocked his nos he tried to de-list my Google business entry. However spoke to Google who confirm that he is bogus. Also uses the mobile no 07511 786531 -

Enters false data about your business (bad reviews, permanently closed, moved etc.) on maps, then rings you pretending that he's from google and that you need to pay an "advertising fee" for the data to be corrected.
His dick is so small that he has to use tweasers to wank.

Blighty replied 2016-11-17 16:14:34Hi Me near Cardiff. Don't give this man any money, it is a scam. We also have a website for our B&B. We manage our own website and use all key words and phrases to keep us one page one of the google search engine. We have never paid anyone to do this for us. James told me we had paid him last year, which is a lie. I asked his to send me a copy of the invoice as he was so adamant. I'm still waiting. Don't give this crook any more money! Blighty. -
James from Link Promotions has rung me at least four times now insisting I pay him so he can renew my Google Account and keep me on the map. I told him this morning he's a scammer and that I don't believe him as I know different regarding my Google account payment. He is a persistent so and so!

James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!

Very pushy wanting payment. Insisting he is account manager for my google account. Read out an old Visa Card Number as though this evidenced his claim. Do not trust him.

this guy has rang me 5 times said from google we have to pay for a site we have with google.we fobbed him off then we rang the company who we pay to advertise with and they said they pay google for us. so guess this is another scam. but this is a new one on us coz they from manchaster. we get loads of scammers ringing us from Lancashire it happens at least once a week. sick of it all
