This number called late Saturday afternoon about a car accident I might have had in the last 2 years. Nothing much to do so played along for a while to see where the call would go. Compensation to the tune of 3000+ on the cards but the caller was unable to provide any information about the supposed accident, my name, etc... When told I was registered with the TPS, caller got angry asking why I wasted his time, so I hung up and blocked the number.

Had an accident last night got a call today 10.45 from a foreign gentleman asking all sorts of questions as to the accident what happened how many were in car then said they were going to deliver the courtesey car. Why did he need to know all this information we asked, he said we were being rude and please listen to me. we were at this time waiting for a call from a repair company. ended up cutting him off. definately a scammer

I had a phone call on my landline tonight at 17:45 from 000 161 826 9268 which I imagine to be the same as 0161 826 9268 because I've had other calls that start 000 161 xxx xxxx and 0161 826 xxxx before and they've always been spam calls.
The number didn't ring that many times and I think my phone did start to go into the answer phone but the caller hung up at this point. -

I had a call from this number. Did not recognise it. On dialling 1471 I was informed "The person on extn 9268 is not available. Please leave a message..." Then "the inbox is unable to take any more messages as it is full". Have put it on choose to refuse now.

Called Saturday at 12:00. Asked if I had had an accident, but didn't even give a name. I asked if he had a name for the person in the accident, he repeated his spiel, I said "Sir, I'm asking you if you have a name for the person in the accident." He said "Maybe someone in your family has had an accident." I asked him to take me off of their list, and he kept on repeating his spiel. After the 3rd time of me asking to be taken off of their call list he hung up.

There are 19 complaints about this number on another site, all made in September (2016). I got a faint and indistinct call from it at 7.30 in the evening. A man with foreign accident was trying to tell me someone in my family had had an accident. In the circumstances I was quite polite. When I told him he must have the wrong number he rang off. Then I was able to resume the job that had been interrupted.
