Introduced himself as Steven and usual PPI STORY.
Told him the truth don't have mortgage, Credit card or loans and he questioned was I living in council property. None of his business and hung up swiftly. Don't know where they got my number from but I have blocked the number. -

Received a call from this number while at work today - on my work mobile. Only about 20 people have this number and they are all work related. I have an entirely different number for my personal phone so I have no idea where they got the number from.
Answered the call.... silence for about 5 seconds, then a woman started to speak but to be honest I could barely hear over the racket in the background (other voices and music). She was shouting over the noise which sounded like introducing her self and something like 'how are you today luv?' in a strong mancunian accent.
I just hung up at this point as a) I could barely hear her and b) I knew it was going to be some spam call/ppi/etc anyway.

This lot rang my home phone last week, my mobile today. I explained I'd already been dealt with, take me off their list they asked for my postcode,first name, surname and then my birthdate! I said goodbye, she started shouting. I hung up.

Constant harassment from these people claiming PPI refunds. Threatened legal action and they just continue. Told the guy to piss off and he claimed I was harassing him. These people are scum and should go get proper jobs and stop hounding/harassing people. What's the betting they don't read this!

PPI call on my work BB, claimed that as I have. Uk mobile phone number, I had a uk bank account, and was entitled to PPi refund.
She did not care that just because I have. U.K. Mobile number, does not mean I have picked up a uk pay as you go sim from the supermarket topped it up in cash and I could be a 14 year old visiting the uk who needs a temporary number to make sure I can phone for help.
Nor did she care that it may be. Business mobile and therefore not linked to my bank account.
Just kept insisting that I have a uk mobile number therefore I must have a uk bank account and so I will be entitled to PPI refunds.
Utter nuisance and talking utter tosh! -

Had call from chap at from noisy call centre - could hear various yelling in back ground whilst talking. At first though genuine but then operative spoke to someone in back ground who I heard clearly say "keep her talking" chap then came back and tried to fob me off that he was a new trainee! DO NOT TRUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PPI . called my works mobile AGAIN.
I told her I was not interested , thanks. She then pushes the point so I explained that another company had offered to help but they had lied about their fees so I was not going to pursue it and did not want to bother. She then pushes that she cannot speak for other companies and her operates a different way. I then told her plainly that the family solicitor would have gone through any credit/loan paper work etc to check it was all above board ... she interrupts me as im speaking and tries to talk over me. I asked her to please not do this. I am not interested , I said firmly and then she says thankyou for your ti.... cuts ME off. Less than 10 seconds pass and "another" girlie from the same phone number calls my wifes mobile.. WTF -

called asking how much i payed for the the month for my mobile(gave a general figure) and as i was near the end of my contract they could set it up for me right now with a 40% saving(months to go before i can get a new phone package) asked which phone i had blah blah every nerve ending wanted to scream abuse at this guy .told them - i would contact the provider myself when the time comes as i was busy at the time and they tried to pressure me saying it would only take a couple of mins for them to get my details yeah right mate sorry it wasnt raining at the time and i didnt just come down with the last shower either - be aware

I received a phone call from this women who was speaking extremely quickly, waffling on about claiming back PPI and started going on about banks, when i said that i had already settled my PPI claim, she took no noticed and started on talking quickly about banks and claiming PPI. I again said that I had settled but again was taking no noticed. Really noisy int he background. Hung up and blocked number

Agent called through pretending to be from a bank and saying that because of data protection she was not alowed to confirm my details over the phone, when I asked her to confirm what my details were she admited that she was lying and did not have my details but was calling on behalf of a company, not a bank. She was claiming that i was due back insurance for my ppi, I said how would know if I have insurance if you dont know who i am , she just started laughing at me and I asked to speak to amanager, she refused and continued laughing at me and told me not to be rude, I told her i was going to call the police if she did not put a manager on and report her company for nuisence calling, she continued to laugh and speak to me in an arrogant and rude manner. This company are fraudsters who are fraudulantly pretending to be your bank falsly claiming the have your details but cannot confirm them as it is against data protection, and fraudulently claiming that they know you have taken out ppi insurance in the past. the police should do their job and close them down, but of course they will not!

Annoying, called my mum today, she didn't know what to say, I just took the phone from her and put it aside, they hung up after 21 seconds of silence.
New mobile number, so no chance of her giving it out as only family have it.

Called from a very noisy background with the usual PPI claim. My mobile number is private and I never give it out to anyone that I do not know. Recently I had to use it to order something online but ticked the usual do not share boxes. I have had 2 phone calls since then from these ridiculous cold callers. I will be following up as to why my number has been sold.

Standard non-existent "your PPI claim" cold call, accompanied by a delay in answering and then a ton of background noise and chatter (hard to tell whether they were in a call centre or at Alton Towers!). Nothing more than an attempt at fishing for info and hoping to get a bite. I always love a company who calls me out of the blue, tells me I'm one of their clients and then asks repeatedly for my name, getting more aggressive when I choose not to provide it… caller abruptly hung up when I asked him to tell me what name was on the PPI claim he was supposedly calling me about so I could confirm if it related to me.
